In the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just 6 km from the center of San Gimignano, in the early 1950s the Cesani family began to take its first steps.
Today the company, still family-run, extends over 19 hectares of land where the vines grown are mainly Sangiovese and the famous Vernaccia di San Gimignano.

“Sanicè” Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G.

Taste: deep, persistent, round, typical almond aftertaste

Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G.

Nature of the soil: medium mixture tending to silty-sandy

Color: pale straw yellow with greenish reflections
Nose: intense and fruity, with hints of green apple and minerals
Taste: full, savory, persistent with an almond aftertaste typical of the Vernaccia di San Gimignano grape

“Luenzo” rosso toscano I.G.T.

Variety composition: 90% Sangiovese, 10% Colorino
Vineyard exposure: North – East
Position of the land: hilly; 350 meters above sea level
Screw depression system: spurred cordon
Harvest period: last week of October
Fermentation: in concrete containers
Aging: in French oak barriques for 6 months
Refinement in bottle: 6 months
Color: intense garnet with violet reflections, brilliant
Nose: hints of blackberries, wild berries and morello cherries, spicy fragrances of licorice, chocolate and tobacco
Taste: full, warm and dry, with a finish that recalls the olfactory sensations
